　　Series 25AUB-Z3 Water Pressure Reducing Valves are designed to reduce incoming water pressure to a sensible level to protect plumbing system components and reduce water consumption. This series is suitable for water supply pressures up to 300psi (21 bars) and may be adjusted from 25 – 75psi (172 – 517kPa). The standard setting is 50psi (345kPa). All parts are quickly and easily serviceable without removing the valve from the line. The standard bypass feature permits the flow of water back through the valve into the main when pressures, due to thermal expansion on the outlet side of the valve, exceed the pressure in the main.

　　在需要把60psi (413 kPa)的供应主管压力降低到50psi (345 kPa)及以下的地方，在靠近建筑物进口的水供应管道的地方，应该安装一个美国瓦茨压力减压阀。根据用户的选择，洒水龙头和外墙消防栓可以保留主管线压力。应该采取措施使得由于阀门出口端的热膨胀出现压力超过主管线的压力时，环绕阀门的旁路水流流回到主管线上。采用内置旁路止回阀的水减压阀是可以接受的。通过认证的阀门应该符合美国安全工程师协会ASSE 1003标准。这种阀门应该是美国瓦茨调节阀公司系列25AUB-Z3。
　　A Water Pressure Reducing Valve with integral strainer shall be installed on the water service pipe near its entrance to the building where supply main pressure exceeds 60psi (413 kPa) to reduce it to 50psi (345 kPa) or lower. Sill cocks and outside wall hydrants may be left on full main pressure at the option of the owner. Provision shall be made to permit the bypass flow of water around the valve back into the main when pressures, due to thermal expansion on the outlet side of the valve, exceed the pressure in the main. Water Pressure Reducing Valves with built-in bypass check valves will be acceptable. Approved valves shall comply with ASSE 1003. Valve shall be a Watts Regulator Company Series 25AUB-Z3.
