美国约曼公司保证美国约曼潜水泵在采用材质和/或制造工艺，和与经过认可的美国约曼泵的任何适用的图纸和规格的符合性方面没有任何缺陷，保质期从设备运至原始买方之日起五（5）年内。
Yeomans Submersible Pumps are warranted, for a period of five (5) years from date of shipment to the Original Buyer, to be free from defects in material and/or workmanship and to conform to any applicable drawings and specifications approved by Yeomans Pump.

这个五年质量保证是分配式质量保证，具体内容如下：
The five-year warranty is a prorated warranty as shown below:

在规定的时间期限内，买方应该按照时间期限内的百分比计算价格取得发票，所计算的价格以配件装运式的价格为准。
Parts will be replaced within the time period noted and buyer will be invoiced at the given percentage rate of the price in effect at the time of shipment.

在保质期内，如果美国约曼公司收到原始买方的书面申述，某个器械具有缺陷，或发现某个器械不符合质量保证的内容（买方随后应该提供给美国约曼公司一个合理的机会，用于进行适当的测试），美国约曼公司将根据自己的安排，自己承担相关费用，对符合下列要求设备的有缺陷的器械进行维修或提供相关替代件：
If within this period Yeomans receives from the Original Buyer written notice of any alleged defect in any such apparatus and if the apparatus is found not to be in conformity with this warranty (the Buyer having provided Yeomans a reasonable opportunity to perform any appropriate tests required thereon) Yeomans will, at its option and expense, either repair the same or supply replacement equipment provided that:

　　(a) 由美国约曼公司授权的人员负责启动开机的设备。任何由未经美国约曼公司授权人员启动开机的设备将使质量保证条款失效。
　　(a) Personnel authorized by Yeomans performed start up of said equipment. Start up of equipment by any unauthorized personnel shall nullify the warranty.
　　(b) 所有生效的启动开机报告和/或质量保证登记文件都已经提交给美国约曼公司。
　　(b) All applicable start-up reports and/or warranty registration documents have been submitted to the company.
　　(c) 所指的设备都由买方根据美国约曼公司的建议和规定进行正确的安装、运转和维护。
　　(c) Said equipment has been properly installed, operated, and maintained by Buyer in accordance with Yeomans recommendations and specifications.
　　(d) 当发现任何缺陷后，买方能够尽快与书面形式通知美国约曼公司。
　　(d) Buyer notifies Yeomans in writing as soon as any such defect becomes apparent.

美国约曼公司有权要求原始买方将器械提交给美国约曼公司所指定的维修中心；原始用户应该支付来回的运输费用。美国约曼公司将只负责第3款中规定的器械、维修或更换支付直接和实际成本。
Yeomans, under either option, shall have the right to require the Original Buyer to deliver the apparatus to a designated service center; the Original buyer shall pay all charges of inbound and outbound transportation. Yeomans shall pay only the direct and actual cost of apparatus, repair or replacement as provided in item 3.

如果维修是在设备运输到原始买方之日起18个月内完成，则由美国约曼公司进行的保质期内的的维修人工或其指定维修中心的维修费用由美国约曼公司承担。
Labor charges for in-warranty repairs performed by Yeomans or its designated service center shall be assumed by Yeomans if the repair is completed within 18 months from the date of shipment to Original Buyer.

美国约曼公司在本质量保证内并不包含任何允许将买方和/或最终用户，把与美国约曼公司设备配置的其它制造商的器械作为美国约曼公司设备系统的部件的论述或推论。在整个系统内的所有部件的兼容性将由其它器械的制造商负责。对于有下列因素造成的损失：研磨材料，化学物质，水垢沉淀，腐蚀物质，闪电，电源供应故障，违反操作规程的操作，或其它类似情况，美国约曼公司将不承担任何责任。
Yeomans makes no representation or inference within this warranty that it has reviewed the buyer’s and/or end user’s system design to which the equipment supplied by Yeomans will become a component of such a system. Overall system compatibility of all components within such a system shall be the responsibility of others. Yeomans shall not be liable for any damage caused by abrasive materials, chemicals, scale deposits, corrosion, lightning, improper electrical supply, mishandling, or other similar conditions.
